Birthday Boy- Jonas is 2! (12/31/16)

Happy Birthday to Jonas!   I can't believe this little peanut is 2.  He is such a joy, but one his second birthday he did something that definitely made David and I realize, he is now 2.

He is still such a fun loving boy.  He jabbers all the time and is trying to keep up with Porter.  He says sentences and actually has quite the sense of humor.  He is not sure of colors yet and says about most things, "Is that the purple one?"

There is something about Jonas that just makes you want to pick him up, squeeze him and kiss him.  Maybe it's his smile and the way his eyes light up.  He is still a momma's boy, but he is starting to love to play with dad too. He gets right along side Porter when Dad gets home and says, "Let's getting ready to rumble."

He loves to play legos with Porter, he likes trains, reading books, stickers, his superman jammie top, and he is starting to become particular with the blanket he uses.  He prefers the elephant muslin blanket.  He still loves milk in his sippy.  He loves most fruit and is actually a decent vegetable eater.  He loves roasted broccoli, pasta, pizza, applesauce, goldfish...  He goes through spurts of eating a lot and then not eating much, but that's normal, right?

We loved celebrating his birthday with him.  We had birthday cupcakes and played at home.

 Good morning Birthday Boy!

Look how happy he is to be 2!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cupcakes.  They were a hit.

I asked what he wanted for dinner and he said, "Pizza, cupcakes and ice cream."  So, of course we delivered his request.  That was easy enough.

 Attempting to blow.

Porter had to get in on the unwrapping of gifts.

Jonas is the sweetest big brother.  He loves Mason and is so tender with him.  As Mason has been around a little longer, Jonas becomes more and more protective of him.  He gets worried if people hold him that he doesn't know and is also protective of things that belong to baby Mason, like his car seat.  He does not want kids playing on it or anyone else picking it up.

We ended Jonas' birthday with a movie.  Look at my boys.  I'm so lucky.  This was the best way to end 2016!
