Randoms (1/31)

Heading out to help dad.  Not sure how helpful he'll be in those shoes.

Cuteness.

So tired after church.  He went into the bathroom to "poop and hide".  It was too quiet and we found out why.

David took advantage of a slumbering Porter and snuggled him.

Jonas wanted in on the action too.

Winter Running (1/30)

There has been a lot of snow this winter and that makes for beautiful running.  It is peaceful.

This was one of those runs.

Gaylee's and he walks! (1/29)

We hung out at Gayle's and had dinner. Porter turned into Darth Vader and Jonas really started walking!

He is still unsteady, but he's doing it.  He is so proud of himself and we are too.

Jonas loves to walk fast around this table.

Gayle made cake and we decided to let the boys blow out candles.

Provo City Center Temple Open House (1/28)

We were blessed to go to the Provo City Center Temple open house with Amber Hogan, my sister Ash, and Shana Price and kids. The temple was beautiful and the moment I walked into the temple I was overcome with the spirit. The boys did so well during the tour.  And afterwards Porter made a wish in the fountain.  "I wish I can see Jesus."  Melt my heart.  So incredibly sweet.  I think he felt the spirit too.

And he skiis. (1/27-1/28), plus other stuff

This is how you play Legos when you have a little bother.  (1/27)

So excited to test out skiing.  Porter borrowed Minna's (our neighbors) skis, boots, goggles and helmet. (1/27).  First we tested it out in our backyard.  He loved it, so we took him up to Brighton for his first ski adventure.  (1/28)

Porter had so much fun skiing and it was a perfect day.  After doing the bunny hill once he saw the chair lift and wanted to go up, so up David and him went.  The wedgie for his skiis kept falling off and we didn't have a harness for him, so it was super makeshift, but he was excited and loved being out there.  My little man is getting big!  We ended up getting him ski rentals that he can use until he's about 10-12. It was a good deal if he's going to ski for years to come.  Which I think he will.

Asleep before we even hit the slopes.

Jonas wanted in on the action too.

We hung out and played in the snow why the other boys skied.  Jonas loved the snow and did not want me to hold him.  He wanted to be on the ground.

Relaxing in the tub.  He took it upon himself to fill the tub.  Good thing I caught him before it overflowed.
