Seven Peaks (7/6/17)

First trip to Seven Peaks for the summer.  It was so fun.  Porter is getting so brave and went down three big water slides all by himself.  His first trip down he went before he was supposed to and ended up running into Ashley and Jonas.  Jonas also took a trip down, but he didn't love it and didn't go again.  He cried before he went down, laughed during the middle and then cried again at the end.
Mason loved splashing in the water and he was so happy.  Jonas loved swimming in the wave pool and kicking the waves.  But, other times Jonas was wrapped around my side clinging as if his life depended on it.
We had so much fun!

Naughty words (7/5/17)

Lately the boys have gotten really bad with saying naughty words... stupid, I hate you, kill, shut up... you get the idea.  Nothing has worked to stop the behavior, so today I tried Siracha hot chili sauce.  I might have found the solution.  Neither one like it and they try to avoid getting it.  I feel bad doing it, but the naughty words have to stop.  Let's see how tomorrow goes.  I'll have to remind them in the morning until the consequence is well known.

On the other hand, I really do love these boys of mine.  We built a new lego set today.  It took awhile and we haven't built a new one together in so long.  It was fun to be with them playing.
