Imaginary Friend (4/27)

Today we were introduced to Porter's imaginary friend, Jax.
I guess David and I are his parents and he likes girl Legos, but unfortunately Porter only has one girl Lego person.

Past few days (4/15-4/16)

Porter got some new nerf paddles that he uses as his crossing guard paddles.  He yells, "Stop!", at cars as we are crossing the street.  Jonas mimics him, throws up his hands and yells, "Stop!".

This was a walk to the Art Festival at Beacon.  First time going in the boys' future school.  It is super nice and got us excited.

I checked on this boy multiple times one morning because I'd brought him in my room around 5:45 am hoping to get him to go back to sleep, although it has never happened in the past, but it was different.  He fell right back to sleep and slept until 8:30!  I almost didn't know what to do with myself.

David and I had a date to a sushi making class at Rice Basil in Holladay.  It was so fun!  And yummy.  We made a shrimp tempura roll, Salmon nigiri, and a citrus roll.  It made me crave sushi.

On our walk yesterday I looked up at the mountains.  I love seeing these everyday. They are beautiful.

We got to FaceTime Mimi and Papa.  I love that because of technology my kids can know their grandparents even though we live far.

Third times a charm? (4/14/16)

It's true.  Today I found out #3 is on the way!  Scared and excited.  I am waiting to tell people for a couple weeks at least. I am only 5+ weeks pregnant.

I sent this picture by text to David at work.

Light saber (4/14)

Jonas often walks around fighting with Porter's light saber, making the sounds and all. He even sings the imperial march tune. So, it was time for him to get his own light saber so there would be no more fights.  Even during lunch he wanted to hold it.

The boy (4/11/16)

Waiting patiently while we get dad's computer fixed.  Good thing there were IPad's with games for Porter and fm food I brought for Jonas.

Prepared with binoculars and a light saber.

Cuteness

Getting ready to FaceTime Mimi. This kiddo can now say Mimi and Papa.

First T-ball practice

Porter had his first practice tonight.   The kids learned to hit and run to first base.  Porter asked the coach when they'd learn to tag people out.

He has some friends on the team:
Tanner Mitchell
Ollie Griffis
Connor and Olivia Clayton

The coach was great and had the kids take a knee when he talked with them and they did a "Go team", hands all in before they started hitting.
